Agency-quality apps. For an eighth of the price.

Mobile apps, web apps, internal tools. Every feature is tested automatically before you see it, its price is fixed before we start, and it only uses your credits once it's delivered and working.

Why it costs an eighth of an agency.

With an agency, you don't only pay for code. You pay for the meetings to understand your need, the writing of the specs, the testing and the documentation. Coding is barely half the bill. We count at least a full day for a typical feature: around €900$1,000.

At Hikaro, an average feature costs about €80$90 to €108$120, depending on your plan — and everything is included: we discuss your need with you, write and scope each feature, build it, test it and document it.

How: our production line runs on AI. An engineer scopes every request with you, and automated tests decide whether a feature is delivered.

Cheaper doesn't mean cutting corners.

  • Every feature ships with its own tests.

  • Nothing reaches you unless the whole app still builds and its tests still pass, old and new. If your app has no tests yet, we add them first, sized and priced like any other feature.

  • An engineer scopes each request with you before any work starts.

  • A feature that can't be done properly comes back with the reason, and uses no credits.

We use the same production line every day on our own products.

Three steps.

  1. Describe.

Tell us what you need, in plain words. A few lines are enough to start.

  2. Get a fixed price.

An engineer turns it into features and sizes each one: small, medium or large. Analysis, development, testing and documentation are all included. The size is agreed before work starts and is final, even if the work turns out bigger.

  3. Receive it, tested.

Each feature arrives working and tested. Only then does it use credits.

A new app, or the one you already have.

New app.

Mobile, web or internal tool. We start with one real feature you can click, then the app grows feature by feature. The code is yours, with its full history.

Existing app.

The list that never gets done: small bugs, missing features, outdated dependencies, the update everyone keeps postponing. We work directly in your code, and each item arrives as a tested feature.

Simple pricing, in credits.

Each feature is sized small (1 credit), medium (3 credits) or large (7 credits). The engineer sizes your features with you, and you approve before work starts.

An average feature uses about 2.4 credits. Analysis, development, testing and documentation are included. Before you buy anything, we send you the list of features and their sizes.

Pilot — €900$1,000.

Two weeks on your project: we set up the groundwork (tests that run, our working agreement) and deliver a first batch of up to 10 small or medium features. Deducted from your first month if you continue.

Option — Continuous delivery.

Your app built, tested and deployed automatically to a test environment you can open at any time. The price depends on your project: contact us.

No lock-in. No surprises.

  • The code is yours: in your repository from the first line, or transferred with its full history for a new app.

  • Monthly plans, no minimum term: take one month, stop when your app is done.

  • Plain, standard code that any developer can take over. If we stopped tomorrow, your app would keep running without us.

Two founders. No middleman.

The person who scopes your features is the person who answers you.

  • Hikaro Studio Company Limited, Thailand
  • Support in English or French
  • Our afternoon is your morning in Europe, and replies usually come within one business day.

FAQ

Is AI-written code any good?

Judge the result, not our word. Every feature ships with its tests, and nothing reaches you unless the app still builds and its tests pass. Start with the pilot before committing.

How fast is it?

Our targets: 2 business days for a small feature, 5 for a medium one, 10 for a large one. They are targets, not guarantees.

Who owns the code?

You do. The code is in your repository, and we transfer to you every right we hold in it, feature by feature.

What about my customers' data?

We work on your code, never on your live customer data. The work runs on our machines in Thailand and on AWS, using the AI providers listed in our sub-processor list. We sign a GDPR data-processing agreement with EU standard contractual clauses.

Do you design the screens and publish the app?

Yes. Screen design and publishing to the App Store and Google Play are features like any other, sized and priced the same way. We don't host your live app; every delivered batch comes with a test version you can click for 7 days.

How can it be eight times cheaper?

Because the production is done by AI, and an agency's bill is mostly people's time: not only coding, but analysis, specs, testing and documentation. We chose cautious assumptions, such as one agency day per feature.*

How do you calculate “an eighth of the price”?

French agency day rates in 2026 run from €600$675 to €1,200$1,350; we use €900$1,000. Because analysis, specs, testing and documentation come on top of coding (only 40–60 % of an agency budget), we count one agency day for a typical feature, all included. Our average feature uses 2.4 credits, which is €108$120 on the Starter plan. €900$1,000 ÷ €108$120 ≈ 8. This is a good-faith estimate, not a measurement of your project: agencies and projects vary widely, so your real savings may be smaller or larger.
